Q What is ^MACTIV?

A ^MACTIV is a retail range of anti-ageing cosmeceutical skincare products, which has been scientifically proven to improve the quality, texture and visual appearance of the skin.

Based on skin-compatible components, ^MACTIV incorporates new formulations of skincare ingredients such as Ursolic and Oleanolic Acid, combined with naturally occurring bio-active molecules, all formulated to reduce significantly the signs of ageing.

Q What is unique about the ^MACTIV range?

A ^MACTIV is unique because it works. Unlike other products that work only with the epidermis, ^MACTIV is formulated to deliver active ingredients into the dermis, increasing cell metabolism and kick starting the collagen synthesis where it takes place.

^MACTIV comprises a special formulation of active ingredients, including retinyl palmitate and acetate (forms of vitamin A), which, when combined with the patented trans-epidermal nanometric squalane delivery system, has been clinically proven to deliver exceptional results. It is the only range of its type available on the high street.

Q Is the ^MACTIV range safe to use on all skin types, including sensitive?

A The range has been tested on a variety of skin types. ^MACTIV contains no harsh AHAs, which can irritate sensitive skin types; therefore, it is safe as well as effective. The range contains vitamin A, normally found in our skin in low concentrates which is essential for healthy skin. The unique combination of vitamin A in ^MACTIV products will restore and re-organise the fibre bundles in the skin (collagen network), eg. undamaged/young skin which will reduce wrinkles and repair skin damage caused by UV radiation. It is important to stress that the products contain very rare and potent ingredients, therefore a gradual introduction of the products is recommended.

Q When would a client use ^MACTIV?

A The range is effective on its own as a skincare regime or when combined with an existing daily skincare regime. ^MACTIV is also commonly used in conjunction with Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatments such as skin rejuvenation, permanent hair reduction and aesthetic treatments to enhance results and truly rejuvenate the skin and can be used pre/post cosmetic surgery.

Q How long must the product be used to achieve results?

A Ultrasound studies have shown significant improvement in skin in as little as just five days, however, it is recommended that products be used for six weeks, in order to achieve optimum results. Only a small amount is required for each application, ensuring products last for up to four months.
